When I looked back at how I had started my life with my husband, I felt that our journey was unique compared to those of others. That’s when I decided I would pen down my memories.

When I started recalling everything from the past, I could visualize the 47 years that we spent together.

I recalled how I brought up the children in a unique way and all the obstacles that I conquered while doing so. How I got into the unique world of horse racing! My husband introduced me to horse racing. In fact later I was a few steps ahead of him in the very field that he had introduced me to! Now when my children are doing so well, I feel proud of the fact that I chose a unique path to bring them up. Along with fond memories, I digested the unhappy ones too. When I started penning down all those bitter sweet memories, I also recollected several interesting incidents. I got so engrossed in penning all that down; I didn’t even realize how and when an entire book took shape out of all my experiences and memories. When my children went through my writings, they decided that my memories should be printed in the form of a proper book. Thanks to Tarita’s initiative it is now being published.
